  Customized & Individual Treatment Plan

Three Steps In Formulating An Orthodontic Treatment Plan:
  1. Orthodontic Examination and Orthodontic Records
The first step in determining your customized treatment plan is learning as much about your orthodontic condition as possible. This begins with a comprehensive orthodontic examination, during which your teeth, bite, face, and profile are evaluated. Dr. Hendrix and his team will then collect a complete set of orthodontic study records, which typically includes plaster study models of your teeth, special pictures of your head, teeth and jaw joints, digital photographs, and your medical-dental history. This information is used to help explain the problem, determine the optimal course of orthodontic treatment, and propose treatment options that satisfy your personal goals and objectives.

  2. Planning and Consultation
Custom Treatment Plan After examining you and studying your orthodontic records, Dr. Hendrix will design a customized treatment plan especially for you. He will discuss any significant concerns or limitations to your treatment, and you will have an opportunity to discuss the topics raised in our easy-to-read information booklet entitled "Welcome to Hendrix Orthodontics- Informed Consent For The New Orthodontic Patient." After all of your questions have been answered to your satisfaction and you have authorized us to do so, we will begin your personalized treatment plan.

  3. Dental Checkups and Care
We are committed to maintaining healthy gums and teeth. Before orthodontic treatment begins, it will be necessary to visit your general (family) dentist for a checkup. This is especially true for adult patients. Once orthodontic therapy begins, you will be expected to continue to see your family dentist for regular three to six month checkups and routine care. Routine, preventative dental care will help ensure the best possible results from your orthodontic therapy at Hendrix Orthodontics.
